Słowa MeBeing

Kiedy podróżowałam służbowo najlepiej wysypiałam się w hotelach. Nie wiem, czy dlatego, że były to dobre hotele, czy dlatego, że cały pokój był tylko mój i dla mnie. A może dlatego, że setki specjalistów wypracowały w nich ergonomię łóżka, sprężystość materaca, ciężar kołdry i miękkość albo twardość poduszki. Niewykluczone, że były to wszystkie te powody naraz. W każdym razie nigdzie nie spałam tak dobrze, jak w hotelu.

Mój pokój hotelowy miał włączoną łagodną, dosyć cichą muzykę, lampkę do czytania, którą mogłam wyłączyć z łóżka i przysłonięte zasłony tak, żeby rano wpadło odrobinę światła. W telewizji hotelowej nigdy nie było nic ciekawego. Poza tym zwykle było na tyle późno, że nie miało sensu wybieranie filmu fabularnego, który trwa dwie godziny lub dłużej. Więc nie oglądałam telewizji przed snem.

Na maile służbowe bardziej składnie odpowiadam w ciągu dnia niż wieczorami po lampce wina. Wieczór w hotelu był więc tylko mój. Mogłam pójść pod prysznic, przygotować sobie strój na następny dzień, spakować rzeczy do prania i usadowić się w łóżku pod kołdrą z książką, którą miałam ze sobą. Pełen relaks wieczorny.

W domu jak w hotelu?

Od kiedy nie latam co drugi tydzień po Europie moją główną i praktycznie jedyną, poza wakacjami, sypialną stała się sypialnia domowa. Potrzebowałam więc wypracować sobie ten sam komfort spania, który poprzednio zapewniały mi tylko podróże służbowe.

W międzyczasie zdążyłam przeprowadzić się do nowego mieszkania, w którym co prawda sypialnia jest mniejsza, ale za to łóżko zyskało na przeprowadzce nowy materac. Tym razem, wyjątkowo, nie poszłam do sklepu z materacami, rzucając się w ramach testów na każdy napotkany. Wręcz przeciwnie. Sprawdziłam w internecie sklepy z materacami i wybrałam losowy, pierwszy z brzegu. Akurat miał na swojej stronie kilkustopniowy proces dopasowania materaca. Zależnie od sposobu spania, preferencji pozycji, grubości i kilku jeszcze rzeczy, których nie pamiętam, strona zaproponowała krótką listę materacy „dopasowanych” do moich potrzeb. Ponieważ można go było zwrócić w ciągu 30 czy nawet 60 dni, zapłaciłam kilkaset złotych i po kilku dniach rulon z materacem był już w domu. I tu zaskoczenie. Materac okazał się być najwygodniejszy ze wszystkich, jakie miałam. Zdecydowanie polecam taki proces wyboru materaca.

Oprócz materaca drugim, bardzo ważnym elementem jest dla mnie poduszka. Po latach spania na maleńkich, płaskich “jasieczkach” uznałam, że jest mi jednak na nich niewygodnie. A dużych poduszek, w które wpada głowa nie lubię. Na fali szaleństwa zakupowego kupiłam gryczaną poduszkę, ale zimą było mi na niej za chłodno. Tak więc po konsultacji z rehabilitantem i ortopedą zakupiłam dodatkową, elastyczną superpoduszkę, podtrzymującą kark i według producenta obdarzoną pamięcią. Przy spaniu na wznak jest absolutnie niezastąpiona.

Mając już komfortowe miejsce do spania zainwestowałam jeszcze w lampki nocne po obu stronach łóżka, ponieważ uwielbiam czytać przed snem, oraz w rolety rzymskie do przysłonięcia okien.

Sypialnia do spania

Podczas urządzania mieszkania zdecydowałam, że w domu będzie jeden telewizor i pozostanie w dużym pokoju. Do sypialni nie dociera nawet domowy internet, przez co oglądanie na tablecie czegokolwiek jest praktycznie niemożliwe. “Dzięki” UPC moja sypialnia sypialnia świetnie służy jako miejsce wieczornego wyciszenia i snu. I to doskonale!

Wszystkie te elementy – wygoda materaca, przyciemnione światło, wygodna poduszka, zawsze wygładzona kołdra, wyraźnie niższa temperatura sypialni w stosunku do reszty mieszkania powoduje, że chętnie układam się wieczorem do snu.

Sam proces „pójścia spać” zaczyna się oczywiście w głowie dużo wcześniej niż przejście do sypialni, ale o tym może już innym razem.
